Chinese NY Workshop

January 9, 2017

Ni Hao, dear everyone, and Happy New Year!

We are back to that fun time of the year, the time of red dragons and zodiacs and parades! The Chinese New Year falls on the 28th of January in 2017 and we have improved and prepared our Chinese New Year Workshop for all children in the schools of London!

Parents, teachers, club coordinators, activity leaders, deputy and head teachers, contact us! We are teaching these special workshops in January and February only!

What to expect?

  • Curious facts from native Chinese speakers

  • Mandarin Chinese and New Year greetings

  • Special New Year craft activities (you will find out more)

  • Wishing Tree

  • Fun in an interactive environment

Did you know this is a Fire Rooster year? Each year is associated with one of five elements (fire, water, earth, wood, gold) and a Fire Rooster happens once every 60 years. To read more about the customs and traditions, have a look here.

Also, if you want to attend the celebrations in London, you can do so by going to Trafalgar Square in London on Sunday, the 29th of January and let yourself be amazed!

Subscribe to stay up to date with our other workshops and events. You can also do so to support Little Mandarin Classes raise funds for our #crowdfundLMC project which aims to teach free classes in deprived schools and nurseries in London. More about it here.
