How important is Imagination to Children?

March 16, 2018

Imagination can be defined as the ability to form a mental image of something that is not perceived through the five senses. This form of building mental scenes, objects or events that do not exist can help power children's confidence, creativity, self esteem and mental well-being.

Before the year 2000, many children back then turn sheets of A4 paper into toy figures, sticks as magic wands and believing the jelly aliens will have babies! The imagination is endless when given the opportunity to imagine.

With our little mandarin classes programme, children go through stories and adventures to put themselves into the characters shoes to really utilise their 5 senses. Not only does this boost their emotional, physical and mental well-being but they learn Mandarin Chinese at the same time.

If you are curious about how we do it, get in touch and we can offer you a taster at your child's school or nursery!
