Design your own Easter Eggs!
Easter is approaching which means lots of fun and crafts for the kids. Here is a snappy blog to help you decorate your very own Easter eggs (with real eggs!)
For this activity you'll need the following:
- Saucepan
- White eggs
- Food colouring
- Vinegar
- Newspaper
- Apron
- Empty egg box
- Tongs
- Rubber band
- Stickers (optional)
- White wax crayon (optional)
Lets get started!
Step 1: Boil your eggs in a saucepan with water then reduce the heat and let the eggs simmer for 10 minutes. Then drain the eggs and add cold water to stop the eggs from cooking.
Step 2: Wear your handy apron! Set the table with newspaper and lets start painting!
Step 3: Fill different cups halfway with hot water, add 1 teaspoon of vinegar and one teaspoon of food colouring. Then simply add your eggs to your chosen colours and let it sit for 5 minutes and wallah! You have a perfectly coloured egg.
