Traditional Beijing Strawberry Snack
400g sugar 200g water Strawberries and sticks Cold water with ice cubes
1. Wash Strawberries and place them on a skewer 2. Boil water and sugar in a pan until it starts to bubble (Tips: Don’t stir) 3. Lower the heat when the sugar and water mixture starts to brown 4. Turn the heat off when you start to smell the sweet sugar 5. Roll strawberries through the bubbles and immediately dip in iced water for 20 seconds. 6. Enjoy them!
