Quarantine calls for delicious and simple deserts and savoury snacks that you can make in a few minutes.

 

 

SIMPLE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

You will need:

4tbsp of self-raising flour

4tbsp of caster sugar

3tbsp of cocoa powder

1 medium egg

3 tbsp of milk

3 tbsp of vegetable oil

A drop of vanilla essence or any you prefer

2 tbsp of whatever toppings you want

 

Mix the dry ingredients together in your largest mug and then add your egg mix that in well together, then add your milk, oil and essence. Finally mix in your toppings and put into the microwave for 2 minutes.

 

 

VEGAN MUG CAKE

You will need:

3tbsp of oat milk

Pinch of lemon zest

1tsp of Lemon juice

1tbsp of sunflower oil

4tbsp self-raising flour

2tbsp of caster sugar

Pinch of bicarbonate of soda

4 fresh frozen raspberries

 

Put oat milk into a mug and then add the lemon zest and juice, leave this for 3 minutes. It should start to look like it is in bits and separated. Stir in the sunflower oil, flour, sugar and bicarbonate of soda and mix this very well until it is smooth.

Add raspberries and microwave for 1 min 30 secs – 2 mins. Until it is cooked through.

Add some vegan ice-cream or some coconut cream and serve.

 

 

STEAMED EGG

This one is a bit strange as all you need in left over cup noodles soup and an egg

All you have to do is crack the egg into the left-over cup ramen and put it into the microwave for about 3 minutes and then you have steamed egg.
